Our aim is to nurture an engaged and supportive community of residents within the building and foster positive and mutually beneficial relationships with the people and businesses of our neighbourhood. Currently in the design and planning stages, we want Nineyards to become a landmark for the town, a popular venue for the public and a fantastic place to live for our tenants.

Private spaces.

We have been innovative with our room design to maximise useable space so that it can adapt to the requirements of every resident over the course of each day.

Relaxing: sofa, ample floor space and a wall-mounted digital TV.

Sleeping: Queen-size foldaway double bed with a comfortable hotel-quality mattress.

Working: fold-down workstation table and fibre broadband.

Cooking: convenient appliances including fridge, microwave, hob and sink – all efficiently incorporated into built-in kitchen cabinets that can be screened off when not in use.

Hygiene: Contemporary, tiled, en-suite bathroom with sliding pocket door, power-shower, sink, WC and heated towel rail.

Storage: Wall mounted shelves and pegs for coats and bags and robust, high-quality wardrobe and kitchen cabinetry.

Lighting: Large feature window, maximising natural light and offering additional ventilation; multiple light sources allow the ambiance of the room to change as required.

Enjoying communal facilities, connecting, engaging and cooperating with likeminded people and participating in shared activities are a key component of co-living at Nineyards. These fortuitous encounters, opportunities and experiences are part of what we mean by ‘living your life in fullscreen’.

The ‘Masterchef’ Kitchen.

Food brings people together, so the communal kitchen and dining area is the place to connect, cook, eat, drink and relax. You’ll find the kitchen specified with commercial grade appliances and extraction, stocked with pans, utensils and basic provisions – and frequently cleaned by our housekeeping team.

The Kitchen Terraces.

Opening up off the dining area, these two first floor exterior spaces provide room for relaxation and al-fresco eating when the weather permits. Watch the world go by with coffee in hand, enjoy a BBQ during sunny evenings or what about a game of badminton or croquet?

The Green Room.

The Green Room is a verdant oasis of calm; accessible from the kitchen and dining terraces. With a glazed wall, abundant greenery and furnished with a commodious selection of sofas and low tables, this space provides a restorative sanctuary – perfect for low-key get-togethers or some quiet time to relax.

CloudNine.

Our sixth-floor lounge in the sky offers a more relaxed feel. Ideal to contemplate, read, or plug in to some music. The south facing roof terrace invites you to soak up the sun, partake in some early morning yoga or enjoy an art class.

The Gym.

Below ground, you’ll find a residents-only, fully equipped gym and wellness centre. With the latest equipment and a separate studio, you can choose individual workout sessions or join a scheduled class.

The Screening Room.

Our own private cinema or gaming chamber is yours to book when you need it – share a special occasion with friends, or host an epic business presentation.

The Laundry.

We’re making sure that even the laundry is an active and welcoming environment; another place for social interaction between residents or just a comfortable spot to pass the time, perhaps with a good book, while you’re cleaning your clothes.

The Bike Locker.

Home to our fleet of bookable communal cycles and secure storage space for hundreds of residents’ own precious bikes – all with convenient lift access to street level.

 

Local faces.

Our sense of community reaches beyond our walls and out into our neighbourhood. Nineyards’ transparent ground floor actively welcomes the outside world and provides a wide range of facilities and events that can be enjoyed by both residents and the public.

 

The Reception

The reception desk is the welcoming smile of Nineyards and the go-to source of help and information for residents and visitors. They’ll also accept deliveries, greet guests and arrange space and event bookings.

The Restaurant

An open, contemporary, interior-designed space serving all-day food and drinks with a focus on healthy, locally and UK sourced produce. There will be a more intimate dining area that can be booked for private meetings, functions or celebrations. The Restaurant will also be the venue for a varied program of events from comedy nights, unplugged live music, residents’ socials and even fashion shows.

The Co-working Studio

Offering a flexible working environment with bookable desk space and meeting rooms. With an environment and ambiance designed to support the needs of freelancers, remote workers, founders and entrepreneurs there will be a ready supply of both delicious coffee and high quality broadband. The space will also host a spectrum of events including talks from external speakers, product launches, community meetings and even group viewing of major sporting events.

Adaptable Event Space

For larger events, The Restaurant and The Co-working Studio can be combined into a single space.
